The purpose was to strengthen the leadership team’s commitment and trust to create a solid foundation for delivering on a new and ambitious 2020–2025 strategy.
In addition, the goal was to build and enhance relationships within the leadership group. Each leader was to receive sparring on their leadership role, and Banff People was to help shift employees from being “proud and satisfied” to “passionate.” We approached the task as follows:
Day 1: Trust and Briefing
– Flight + transfer to hotel
– “Walk & Talk” and trust exercises on the beach
– Briefing and planning within and across teams for the adventure session on Day 2
– Cozy dinner in town
Day 2: Adventure Program & Process
– Morning yoga on the beach
– Tailor-made adventure experience focused on knowledge sharing and motivation
– Process work focused on cross-organizational collaboration, with a special emphasis on “the leadership role”
– Lovely dinner in a mountain cabin – an unforgettable experience with a stunning view from the top of the Corsican mountains
Day 3: Reflection
– Morning yoga on the beach
– Participants reflect on their key learnings, and specific actions are formulated for both individuals and the group as a whole
– After being in the firm hands of Banff’s consultants during the first part of the day, we “let go” and spend the rest of the day on a relaxed mountain bike tour in the hills, allowing time for everything to settle
– Cozy dinner at the hotel, with the highlight being a photo slideshow from the past days
Day 4: Return Travel
– Breakfast and transfer to the airport
