Ærø, a charming island located in the South Funen Archipelago, is known for its idyllic nature, historic villages, and maritime culture. This gem of an island is the perfect place to host unique and memorable corporate events, where employees can relax and strengthen the sense of community in beautiful surroundings.

We had the pleasure of arranging a three-day corporate trip to Ærø for a company and their 200 employees. The adventure began with a joint departure in buses from the office in Copenhagen, which itself created a great start to the trip with plenty of camaraderie and excitement.

Upon arrival in Svendborg, the participants were welcomed in the ship hall at the harbor, where we held a joint welcome and a mindset session to set the tone for the coming days. The atmosphere was high, and the excitement grew as employees were surprised with a schooner sail to Ærø. We had gathered all available schooners in Denmark, which were ready to transport the participants from Svendborg Harbor to Ærø. The sail became an unforgettable experience, where colleagues helped set the sails and enjoyed the beautiful sea and fresh air.

Upon arrival at Ærø, participants were greeted with a warm welcome at the harbor, where sausages and refreshments were served. All accommodation on the entire island of Ærø was rented out to us, and employees were accommodated in cozy guesthouses and hotels.

The following days were filled with inspiring workshops and team-building activities in nature, which gave employees the opportunity to collaborate and strengthen their bonds in relaxed surroundings. In the evenings, there was plenty of time to socialize with colleagues and explore Ærø’s charm.

The highlight of the event was the concluding party at the harbor, where participants could celebrate the successful days with good food, music, and dancing. It became a party that would not be forgotten anytime soon, cementing Ærø as a fantastic location for corporate events.

Ærø delivered an extraordinary experience, where nature, culture, and community came together as one. It was a trip that not only strengthened the company’s internal cohesion but also gave employees memories for a lifetime.
