Hindsgavl Castle, beautifully located in Middelfart on the island of Funen, is known for its historical charm, stunning natural surroundings, and modern facilities – an ideal setting for a corporate event.

Participants from both Jutland and Zealand were transported to Hindsgavl by bus, where they were welcomed with a joint kickoff session that created a warm and energetic start to the day. This was followed by an engaging conference featuring both internal and external speakers, focusing on important topics. After the conference, participants were briefed on the upcoming “Silobreaker” activity.

Lunch was served outdoors, giving participants the chance to enjoy their meal in teams while strategizing for the upcoming Silobreaker challenge. This created the perfect opportunity to strengthen collaboration and plan their approach for the fun and demanding activity ahead.

The Silobreaker activity took place in the beautiful natural surroundings of Hindsgavl Castle and Middelfart. Over the course of three hours, teams worked to solve tasks, break down silo thinking through teamwork and creative problem solving, and share information across groups. The company had defined two KPIs in advance – one team KPI and one company-wide KPI – applying to all participants.

After the Silobreaker activity, the group gathered for a debriefing session led by our consultant, where the day’s lessons and experiences were shared and discussed. This gave participants the opportunity to reflect on the activities and take valuable insights back to the workplace.

Participants then had time to check into their rooms and relax before the evening festivities began. The day concluded with a delicious three-course dinner, party, and live band, creating an unforgettable evening filled with great food, music, and a festive atmosphere.

The event at Hindsgavl Castle was a great success, offering participants a chance to network, learn, and have fun in beautiful surroundings. It was an experience that strengthened team spirit and provided employees with memories and tools to carry back into their everyday work lives.
